Matheran Trip

Matheran is said to be one of India’s most beautiful, and the smallest, hill station, is located on the Western Ghats range. Matheran is a plateau with a reasonably dense forest cover of 8 square kilometers in Sahyadris. Matheran means "jungle on top". It is  the perfect place for a picnic. What makes it even more special is that vehicles are banned, with the exception of emergency vehicles. Not even bicycles are used. The only modes of transport are on horseback, by man-pulled rickshaw, or on foot. To go up at the Matheran there is a toy train but we can also go through cab. We chose to go by cab as the toy train's tickets were not avaiable. Me and my three friends went on a sunday morning in 2008. On that day we took a early morning train and went to Neral and from there we took a cab till the hill station. We saw many points and really felt the beauty of nature, but there is a bit walking between any two points. There are many palaces at the Matheran, but most fo them were in a very sorry state. We saw many monkeys there who are always ready to snach your food and other stuff, so be aware of them!. At the end of the day we were totally exausted.

Introduction

I am Vijay.........I believe in simplicity so, I try to be as simple as I can......I like to listen to music as it makes me    feel relaxed.....I like Green Day, Metallica, RHCP, Bollywood Songs etc......

I believe in universal power that controls this world.........and we call it the power of GOD......and I think it has helped me a lot :)......

I believe in the phrase 'Incremental improvement beats postponed perfection'. It basically means that if we keep learning and improving continuously we would be better off than people who would try to learn something in short period of time. I believe that the biggest example of this is learning music; you cannot learn music except by having patience and improving continuously. I play Guitar and I can say that I am a continual learner.

So this is something about me... Keep checking the blog for further updates.
